Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 25, 2026

BookNow24/7 ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of everyone who interacts with our Platform — Guests, Hosts, and visitors alike. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how it's protected, and the choices you have.

Read it alongside our Terms of Service and GDPR & Data Rights notice, which form the rest of our data governance framework.

At a glance

  • What we collect: account, booking, payment, and basic device data.
  • Why: to run bookings, payments, support, and security.
  • Who we share with: hosts, payment processors, and integrated hospitality systems — never sold for ads.
  • Your control: access, correct, delete, export, or object — anytime via the GDPR page.

Part 1

The Information We Handle

Information you provide

You give us personal data when you create an account, make a booking, list a property, or contact support. This typically includes:

  • Full name, email, phone number, and postal address
  • Payment information (processed by our payment providers)
  • Identification documents, where required for verification
  • Property details and listings (for Hosts)
  • Anything you submit via contact forms, reviews, or service requests

Booking & transaction data

When a reservation is made, we store the details needed to fulfil it:

  • Stay dates, property, guest names, and party size
  • Pricing, fees, and booking status
  • Payment references and refund records

This is retained as long as accounting, tax, and regulatory rules require, and may be shared with payment processors, fraud-detection services, and — where the law demands — regulators.

Device & usage data

We automatically collect limited technical information when you use the Platform:

  • IP address, browser type and version, operating system
  • Device identifiers
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, session duration, referring URLs

Used for security monitoring, Platform optimisation, and analytics.

Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, personalise your experience, and understand usage:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Platform to function.
  • Performance — analytics on how the Platform is used.
  • Personalisation & advertising — only when you've consented.

You can manage cookie preferences in your browser. Disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

Part 2

How We Use & Share Your Data

How we use your information

We use your personal data to:

  • Operate the Platform and process bookings
  • Facilitate communication between Guests and Hosts
  • Process payments and refunds
  • Provide customer support and service notifications
  • Prevent fraud and abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Improve features and performance
  • Send marketing — only where you've consented

Sharing with service providers & integrated systems

We share data only with trusted parties, and only as needed:

  • Hosts — guest name, contact details, and booking info needed to facilitate the stay.
  • Payment processors — under their own privacy terms.
  • Integrated hospitality & concierge systems — only for reservation fulfilment, service delivery, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, and subject to data processing agreements.
  • Legal & regulatory authorities — when required by law.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone for advertising or commercial purposes.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected:

  • Account data — kept while your account is active, then up to 7 years.
  • Booking & transaction records — per applicable tax and financial regulations.

International data transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where that happens, we put safeguards in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by relevant data protection authorities — to keep an adequate level of protection.

Part 3

Your Protection & Your Rights

Security measures

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Access controls and audit logging
  • Regular security assessments
  • Employee training

No system is fully secure, so we can't guarantee absolute protection — but we work to minimise risk.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Have your data erased (in certain cases)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Receive a portable copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these, visit our GDPR & Data Rights page or contact us directly.

Children's privacy

The Platform isn't intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have, we'll delete it promptly.
